…and I don’t mean lycanthropically.
Very few shows ever make me say “Shit that was something real happening in that room”. I can only think of a handful of sets that were so in my face they rattled my soul. Among them would be the intimate performances of Phil Elverum (Microphones/Mt. Eerie), and Julian Koster (Neutral Milk Hotel, The Music Tapes). It’s no surprise that Wyatt from the Athens, GA based band Werewolves credits Phil and Julian for changing his life. I met Wyatt while on tour with my friends in December. He played a solo set in his living room that changed my life for awesome. I strongly encourage you all to experience something that might shake you out of the monotony of m0dernity. Something that will probably make you say “Shit that was something real happening in that room”.
